another added benefit. since it is a little taller my speedo seems to be a little closer to the truth.

Key man me thinks the speedo runs offa the front sprocket ....not so sure it'd change
the meter

On a first Gen / mark 1 87-89 it would though as the speedo runs from the front wheel hub

That's hilarious! what a moron. I would have sworn my speedo changed. I remember now when I took the wheel off, there was no cable. Isn't that funny how when you expect to see something you can be absolutely positive you did even when it isn't there! It's so easy to fool ourselves yup yup i is a motothickle mekanic. I is I is.
