Do you mean like mine ???

Its sooo easy - I am not very technical at all.

You can buy the spacers I have on from lots of blackbird sites as the bird mirrors show a lot of elbow !

You then need to elongate the holes on the spacers until the bolts line up with the original mount holes on on your fairing frame. Drill another hole for the wiring in your fairing that lines up with the wiring hole in the spacers ( thi hole is covered once the mirrors are on).

Remove all the rubber mounting from the bird mirror, get some long M8 bolts and large enough washers to stop them pulling through - and bingo !

I get no vibration through the mirrors, the wiring runs straight from stock with extensions.

You can buy tinted and clear indicators on e bay.

I went for clear lenses, then mounted strobes in them as well (very tight !)
Now I have LED tower bulbs that run from my side lights so when my lights are on I have bright white light in the indicators that turn to orange when I indicate.
The strobes are great for filtering in traffic.

I got the mirrors in bits on ebay - took about 4 weeks to find all the bits !

Re RAM AIR

Could you use the unused indicators (see pic 3) for intakes and route the pipes inside the fairing ????

I really don't ride the bike at night, but I am keen to put some florescent blue light in the fairing and maybe some under the undercarriage
