Thanks guys!! The only thing is I need new mirrors. I cannot find new so maybe I'll try and paint the original ones. The rubber was bad and they are faded. I would have loved to find new ones but cannot.

Just came back from a 2hr ride with the Ol girl and ...man I missed this bike.

My 07 CBR1000rr is fast and fun but this bike I could ride all day!

 

Good used OEM mirrors are out there on e-bay if you look long enough.

There are pattern ones from Hong Kong and China here :-

They are for the MK3, but I'm someone here has made them fit.

 

I actually bought a pair of those and cannot figure out how to make fit but I also was trying last night and was getting a but tipsy and said hell with it and put old back on.

Maybe I'll entertain the thought again of trying to make fit.

I just hate to go this far to keep as OE as possible and have to stick some chinese parts on...

I got these and was able to widen the mount bracket (dremel ground each inner end) to attach to my 1990
