Daytime pics would mean I would have to wash it!! Last week I gave the engine and pipes a cheap paint job and drilled out the exhaust a bit, then when I got half way to work that afternoon I realised I had forgotten to replace the rad cap. It spewed brown rad water over everything. Damn that **** is hard to clan off... It's easy to hide with lighting though

Thats a good idea about the chin spoiler, but I think the next thing I do will be the subframe. I really do need to get rid of that fat rear end. I have lots more pics but the are all the same shot with different lighting conditions. I didn't have all night in that car-park, campervans started coming wanting the location to spend the night. I'll think of some spot I'll have a little more time in and get some more angles. I am only an amateur photog but it's really not that hard, just a mater of getting the gear and knowing how to use it.

Oh, and the twin spotlights I have hooked up to the high beam are FREAKIN AWESOME. Much better than most cars. I can't recommend extreme headlight mods more. Riding at night rocks.

I have to agree. When they have been dropped, you do what you have to. She still breathes.

Don't see many street fighter mods of the Hurricane that I like. This is pretty awesome though !. Nice job.
+1 on the sub-frame it looks out of place but the rest of it rocks. Also like the lower headlights you hooked to the high beams.

Install a HID bulb conversion kit, you'll love it to death

Have to say I don't mind it, if it's been dropped and it gets you on the road it's all good. + 1 on the daylight pics thou, it might actually be like one of those chicks you meet in a dark nightclub (with your beer googles on).

I have played around with some HID projector bulbs but I would have to make a housing for them I think. Maybe I could just put the HID bulb inside the driving light case, and forget about the projector shell... another day...

For some reason I have been working off the assumption that the hurricane had a bolt-on subframe. Sucks that it doesn't. With a bolt-on bolt-off subfram swap I was hoping to have my cake and eat it too with single and dual seater options but alas, It's not to be.

Stefan I like what you have done under the seat, can the airbox and move the battery. THat's my goal as well. I tried some cheap pod filters, but that made the bike sound like a damn truck compression braking whenever I opened the throttle at low RPM, how do you put up with just mesh filters??

Ear plugs

About the filters, I just won an auction for four 55mm K&N pod filters, that'll be a huge improvement (these cheap flat things go back to less than 50mm... I actually have 80hp to the wheel because of them!).
Afaik it's common with cheap filters that they have a smaller diameter than advertised.
But to be honest, I actually like the noise, matter of taste I suppose.
And I'll be needing a gel battery, so I can lay it on it's side; it's very cramped under the fuel tank, can't fit the K&N pods unless I move the battery.
