Default Petcock swap?

I'm sick and tired of the vacuum operated petcock on my '93. Over the years I've had off and on starting problems that I think were caused by the vacuum valve not working as it should. Is there a non vacuum (normal) style petcock that will bolt on without drama or must I buy a new stock replacement?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your reply. My purpose is not to repair/replace but to substitute a simpler design petcock. You know, turn it to the "on" position, the valve opensand gas flows. Turn it to "off" and the gas stops. As the bike and I age, I worry about being standed by something that should just not fail.

I wouldn't replace it, but I'm not the one with the hassles !
It's a safety feature, so that any fuel leak isn't too dangerous.....
Once you repair/service the thing, you shouldn't have any more trouble. It's an easy job.....
