i need some parts. of course like most of the 1000f out there i need some fairing. but i know they are hard to find. i also need the cover for the side of the block. my wife was trying to move my bike when i was at work and droped it, resulting in that aluminum cover getting smashed and it leaked abt 3.5 qaurts of oil on my shop floor.

Very first rule , NOBODY touches the bike but me , my wife thinks i'm **** about it , i think i'm **** about it , but it sure does look all shiney still. Sorry about that with yours though. a few good ranting and ravings should cure the future accidents.

I'll bet your wife feels like crap. I'm sure you do...

You might check out the fiche at our site too. I doubt you'll find a better price and I guarantee you that you will have a nice buying experience.

No more spare parts of the fairing, except the left part underneat the seat, and the "***".

Hi all - I need a speedo in KPH to comply with local regs. Happy to swop my MPH one which has 38000-odd miles on it - 1990 model.

I was always thought that as long as there are kph listed somewhere on the speedo, either big or small, it was acceptable. A co-worker bought a harley from the states a few years back and he had to do nothing to it to register and insure it since it had kph under the mph on the speedo. BTW I am located in Central Alberta.

Yes, you're right, but I have had occasions when taking the bike to a Honda dealer that they start making remarks about "gray imports", which pisses me off because they never had the sense to import Hurricanes in the first place !! It's also a lot easier to glance down at your speedo and not have to do MPH/KPH calculations in your head......! (It's also much nicer to see 250 come up, than 146 MPH) - just feels better !! he he
