Each to their own- and who cares what I think anyway and I'm sure there's a bike somewhere that's orange and lime green. Where I live, undercoat is either pink or yellow, and we tend to go for something else.

If you like yellow - it's all good - you're the guy who's riding it after all.

 

you could paint it pink with yellow spots and call it MR BLOBBY

 

Here is my two cents worth.

This bike was a good bike in it's day and the colour scheme used on them reflected "new" look at that time. I just painted mine and I chose to go with a new look on mine, but having said that, the red and black will always stand the test of time.

Well after what all you guys have said. I have decided to go down the local paint suppliers and look at the colour charts and see what I can come up with. Will keep you posted and take plenty of photo's for info for you guys to see. Catch you later Malc
