I'm with ya.

OK, here goes:

comfy seat for long distance

light, fast steering

Low center of gravity

windscreen that shoots air over your forehead

How about factory quick-adjust bars?

comfy grips

Are quick adjust pegs possible?

massive brakes

about a 6 gallon fuel tank

trip computer that keeps track of all significant service intervals

linked or anti-lock brakes (I love my linked break system)

power outlet so I can always have juice for the cell phone so I can use standard blue tooth ear piece for intercom and GPS duty

Significant "secret" storage under the passenger seat.

Quick change plastics so you can change the personality of your bike in about 10 minutes

Built in, invisible, quickly replaceable frame/body sliders/bumps to protect bike from major damage from drops

non praying mantis look

integrated and attractive/or hidden rings for hooks to hoist bike to top of garage for storage.

And how about if there was a cool cowl over the passenger pillion that folded up and back to become a passenger backrest.

As well as some of the stuff already mentioned, I'd just like a bit less weight and better brakes with no fade. Corners come up mighty quick sometimes on my Friday arvo ride home . Upside down forks with full adjustment would also be good.

I spose if I could build a new 1000F , I would just leave all the cosmetic stuff including the seat and seating position ect ..as is ....
BUT ... use everything!! and I mean everything out of the 1000RR underneath ...
woohoo!! , now that would be a great 1000F !!
That was gonna be my answer. Dammit, steve, you guessed it!
Although, I wouldn't mind a couple small cosmetic changes, maybe. Just a little...
But if it meant sacrificing comfort, no way.

Did you guys go to the Honda website and look at the new VFR 1200? Pretty slick.

However, it is so flashy in sort of a jewelry way, that it doesn't give off the "real racer guy" vibe that the 1000R does. It's like the difference between real pretty and real cool.

It looks pretty..a bit too flash for my tastes though. Can't afford one anyway..the wife would divorce me ..

Of course I'd be interested in taking one for a thrash though

Take it up to 1200cc
Improve the compression to around 11
Give it fuel injection with variable mapping
Make a place for wet gear/keys/mobile phone/condoms etc
Fit brembo brakes and suspension
Fit some pipes that make it sound less like an angry washing machine.........
Other than that, leave it alone.................
