Default Ok Girls time I posted...

Been a while since my last post and thought oughta say hello again. Did quite a bit of touching up the ol girl....shes still so frakkin pretty. Only major thing I did was replace the petcock, what a name lol. Cleaned out the tank, lotsa red sedement there, must be coz it was in the Alice for so many years.

Guess what, I kinda started a new phenomenom here lately. People seeing my bike are going ga-ga over it. So much so that 2 people so far said they must have one. They both got Red/White's and are in the process of re-furbishing them. Blue/Whites seem a lot rarer these days. And theyre loving the process of going through it all bit by bit, its called 'A Labour of Love'.

Also working on getting all the Red - Blue/Whites together for a gathering.

Anyway Hi again to one and all, hope I'll get to be posting more soon.

Good stuff Volvi. Yeah, petcock is a bit of a weird one..probably reflects more about us giggling than the person who named it so.

There's a few of our members around the Melbourne area now. It'd be a good turn out to get 'em all together.

Cheers mate,

Dave.

Never saw a blue/white one here in the states, but yours looks great. They had a blue/white 25th Anniversary VFR here, but it doesn't look as sharp as the 1000F.

Thats right, USA never got '89F's not tlll 90 FL's. Meanwhile UK, Europe and Pacific got the blue-red/whites in '89 FK's. best color scheme ever the blue-red/whites.

blue n white looks great ! I do like my red/black beast tho . I get the same comments about the age , 1990 and still looks pretty current . mine 60,000kms and the last bloke had a minor spill which has'nt been repaired well . pity , such a pretty bike when in good nick .
