Talking Newbie so be gentle

Hi everyone
New to the forum. I ride (or did till yesterday) a CBR1000f-R 1994. Just got Helga back on the road yesterday when the rear shock gave out. Pre-load casing broke and oil from damper Not a happy chappy at the moment as I have scarce resources to replace it. Would be gratefull if anyone has a second hand one they wish to part with. Lots of info on here will get digging.
all the best
Rich

Welcome aboard! I'd check in the Hurricane section, ask around and belly up to the bar in the Saloon. The guys prolly have one or can tell you how to make one from a soup can

Yes they are that good

Welcome to the CBR Forum Rich,

I'm a bit hurt at Kuroshio's soup can comment - we only ever use empty beer cans

Cheers, SB

Hi everyone
Thanks for the welcome. Not sure if older model shock will fit. had a look on Hagon's site and only quote one shock for models FK to FP so I assume an earlier shock say 1991 will fit. Can anyone confirm this?
Cheers
Rich

Take it from whence it comes, Bear - after all what do you expect from a guy who rides a Bloody Motorised Wheelbarrow (Made from recycled Messerschmit parts) LoL.

all will fit Rich - I have 3 spares in my garage - one spanking new (NFS) & 2 used (FS)

BUT

It'd cost an arm and a leg to ship them over from the shores of Boon Island !

think we need some new Bouncers Pete
