New Sprockets - 16/40?

RE: New Sprockets - 16/40?
I'm sure the great majority of people do speed on here, however, it is nice to know what you can get away with so the next time you're relaxing you don't get a nasty surprise.
The thing is - when you ride for 12 hours in a row, speeding doesn't help as much as you would think it would. It tires you out faster, you run the risk of getting tickets and being held up as a result, and you burn through gas. If you want to get somewhere far away quickly, the thing you have to know is that frequent stops kill your average speed. I have run a few days maintaining an honest day long average speed of 60, with no fear of tickets, and just a few well timed quickly executed stops.
On a weekend 2 hour ride, I ride alot differently.

Good point there woot... rushing to get somewhere by speeding can actually slow you down in the end.
Out of curiosity - this is a survey question for everybody:
What RPM does your CBRF sit on at 110kph (66mph)?
With my sprockets of 16/40 I have to sit on around 4600rpm with my speedo around 122kph which according to the GPS is true 110kph. I personally don't like it revving that high and rather sit on 110kph on my speedo which is just a tad over 4000rpm, bike cruises nicely at that, but only doing around 96-98kph!

I have a Gearing Calculator here for the CBR. But please note it doesn't take into account frictional losses.

P.S that CBR must be a handful in the Adelaide Hills!!
