New purchase!!
I just got a 1990 CBR 1000f from a salvage dealer and I need some help Customizing it. I saw this one picture on the other website and it looked good. They change the front fairing and light and the seat. if anyone can tell me what the parts are that would be great. I tried to find them and no luck.[IMG][/IMG]

RE: New purchase!!
Mark R, Colored chains are readily avail. thru prob. most dealers/ catalogs. Used on dirt and street. my parts guru says, i should know that there susceptable to chipping, the master links are "normal color", and i would be sure the tensile strenth is applicable, esp if it's a "crossover" from dirt application. they are cool, though. Nice bike, Mark R. Clean and free, only smoke'n harleys!!!!!! Ripp'n

Darkstar7, custom cbrs, long overdue!!!!!!!! Hey man, dig up a copy of "streetfighter" magizine (hastings). Once again prooooving, "limeys, are at least 10 years ahead of us (US.), in social degradation!!!!!!!!!!! there seems to be a huge supply of totaly bazaire wild sport fairings, in europe!!!! projector beems, sticking out of gas masks!!! (really!) but all kinds of wicked minimalist, too cool stuff. Also check out accebis dirt fairing enduro /dakar looking stuff. well finished, cheap, and universal fittment. ask your dealer, it's in the dirt section of catalogs. I'm torn over take'n the flouro red stipes off my mint 94 (for stock sake) anyway it goes, the white headlight panel, is going black, to reduce the "car 54 trooper look" Good luck and ya, post some photos Clean and free, only smoke'n harleys!!!

RE: New purchase!!
The fairing is a universal fitment!
As for the rear seat unit,THAT`S A DIFFERENT MATTER.
find a complete unit with subframe, then you`ll need an angle grinder and a welder and BIG *****!
Take a deep breath and chop your subframe off!!!!!!!!
Weld the new one on.
Dead easy,NOT!
Looks cool though.
