i have the stock forks for now and crazy enough my 96 f3 front fender fits them perfectly. i think i might go carbon fiber with the front fender and flyscreen but dont know yet for sure. trailtech makes electric speedos and tachs for dirtbikes and stuff so i'm gonna make one of those fit. i do have a lot more pics on the bikepics.com if anyone wants to see more building photos.

Nice work Garret.
Still working on mine, sssa is in but havent changed the tail yet. was thinking R6 style.
Broke the dogbone link last week so that needs a rethink. didnt crash but locked it up. put the tyre into the seat and ripped all the electrics out. Was time for a rewire anyway! LOL

I know this is an old thread, but I thought that I would dredge it up anyway.

grwilson6, your bike looks amazing. Any updated pics? I am thinking about doing something similar to mine since I wrecked it. Any other pics you have would be greatly appreciated.

The swingarm in mine is a VFR 800 andgrwilson6's is a VFR 750 (I think). They obviously can both be made to fit but mine was a fair bit of machining work and spacers and stuff! i didnt take note cause i was really too keen to get it mobile again. I assume Garret's was the same.

Hows the bike going now Garret? get it re-jetted to suit? Mines a little tooo rich and uses a fair bit of fuel but pulls a good wheelie now!!!! I guess better rich than lean like it was though.

i have just gotten my new jets from factory pro in the mail today and got them in the carbs but haven't got the carbs back on the bike yet. hopefully i'll be close. its got adjustable needles and some other goodies so i can fine tune it a little. i'm gettin pretty good at takin those carbs off though, lots of practice. my swingarm was off the 750 model.
