New to me Blackbird next week!
Found this bike on the classifieds of a Blackbird forum - $3,500 worth of extras, all of which I would probably buy if I bought a Bird and he's selling it to me for $100 over book value - $6,800! it's an '02 with 12,000 miles - fuel injection here I come! I actually wasnt looking for an upgrade, but this deal is too good to pass up. Believe it or not it's the lack of acceptable hard bags for the CBR that was the reason for looking in the first place...
It's 1000 miles away from me - I bought a one-way ticket and will ride it back in a day and a half - wish me luck with that one - leaving next Tuesday will report with hopefully an interesting but successful story.

Here's the other side. extras include Corbin bags ($1300) seat and backrest ($639) Akropovic Carbon fiber full system ($800) power commander ($300) Throttlemeister ($200) vfr bars ($200) tinted oversize shield ($100?) brand new tires front/rear, also getting original seat exhaust and clipons sent in the mail with purchase of $6,800. And I thought my CBR1000f was a good deal!

10 day forecast across the 1000 miles shows clear with temps between 40-50 - hopefully it wont change. No room for 3 bikes, Cbr's gonna go this spring - I'll get more than I have in her because of the great deal I got on it - book's $3,500 I bought it for $2,000.

Congrats, $6,800 would have been a very good price in Sweden even without all the valuable extra stuff, what a great buy ! The bike will without doubt run like a missile with the full system and PC. The low mileage also means the suspension should be as new. I'm replacing the fork springs and rear shock this weekend, that bike has now 65000 km's on the meter.
