New issue.. 87 hurricane. please help
So my air intake box is junk, so my idea is to just get 4 air filters and just get rid of the box. now since my bike is naked it has no way of channeling air into the carbs....any ideas on something i can do too look good and still get ton of air to the engine.

Hey:
Too much Airforced with pods, LOL, they are a jetting puzzle for many tuners as they don't get even flow and may need uneven jetting to run correctly. The airboxe takes in these abnormalities and balances the flow for all of the carbs. Works great with a new clean filter of your choice, for Honda spent lots of Dyno/Tunnel time working the flow out. Ebay is a place to get one at a cheaper price.
Pods can be made to work but plan to give it lots of time to make it run to the level of the stock airbox before you see any gains, the bottom line is the stock box work quite well is found fairly cheap used, and is only a pain when pulling the carbs, it is the easier option for most.
