Hey if you read most of the forums here you can find that there where many places that everyone has been talking about like bikebandit.com for instance. Just look around on the forum and it will help you out i would search around for you but i have to get going to work so good luck with the search. And good pick on a bike. Though is this your first or have you owned more since this one? Put some pictures up as well as it turns out.

Check eBay for plastic. Someone posted some "Ninja" green 88 CBR1000F parts. Be patient, you can ride the bike as a street fighter until you get all your parts. I did that with mine, took 6 months to source all the parts, and I still watch eBay for stuff. I am just now getting mine where I want it.
Another word of advice. That bike is NOT a good starter bike. A 600 and a 1000 are two totally different bikes. IMHO, you should fix the 1000 up, sell it, and get an old Hurricane 600. GREAT bike to learn on, won't wear you out, not super heavy and cumbersome in the corners. The 1000 can be really intimidating in corners. I love mine, hate to get rid of it, but it was my first bike, and my chicken strip is gone. I cannot keep up with my buddy on his XX. I want to lean more, but the bike is going "NOOOOOOO, WHERE'S THE HIGHWAY?!?!?!"

If you don't have the patience for ebay, you can get unpainted and undrilled mid and lower fairing pieces from http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/...0001987-90.htm. For OEM parts, try Ron Ayres- http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/getyea...p;groupid=5440or Honda Parts Direct at http://hondapartsdirect.reachlocal.n...&fveh=3019. Both are cheaper than list.
