Default The Naked Hurricane

Now the fun begins. I started out the day washing the bike, and then stripping off the plastic. Then I washed it again, no sense getting any dirtier than I need to during what is to come.

I have a new set of carbs, I will be checking/replacing hoses, flushing cooling system, changing plugs, repairing some cracked plastic, replacing all of the 20 year old bulbsand just generally giving it a spiffing up.

It sure does look pathetic sitting there without a stitch on,

Has anyone ever come up with an online service manual for the 87/88 Hurricane?

I downloaded and printed the one for the 90-?? from fiche-man. I am hoping that a lot of it is the same.

Looks more akin to a boat anchor than a bike! It'll be nice when you're done. You'll have intimate knowledge of your girl!

Allready there, I bought it new in 1988 in Santa Clara when I was stationed at Moffett Field. We have done this before. It a 10 year maintenance plan. Should keep it going for 100 years or so if I keep it up.

I am in Spokane, Wa.

The bike and I have lived in Cupertino, San Diego, Las Vegas, Oklahoma, Spokane, Montana, back to Spokane and is now going to stay in Spokane. At least that is what SWMBO has said.
