My old lady got a make over

My old lady got a make over
So the last few weeks I've looking and admiring my old lady, and even though she's not young anymore, nor the sexiest thing out there, I still had those warm and fuzzy feelings toward her.
So a few weeks back, I decided that she needed a make over. So I stripped her naked and started working on her. I was gentle where and when I had to be but there were times when I just had to give it to her.
Some things she fought me on, but for most parts, it was all good. Oh yeah, the crack needed a lot of fill. Luckily I got good stuff so I could do it again within 15 minutes. It took a fair bit of elbow grease to make her come out all right, but hey it's all good.
So her lower region got a nip and tuck, she got a face lift, and now she is good to go for another 22 years.
Here are a few before and after pics, so let me know what you think
Cheers,
Rookiekc
Black pieces are painted with Dupli-Color Bumper paint (looks great)
Fairings Urathane (4 - 5 coats paint gun)
Cracks fixed with Plastic Weld from Canadian Tire (saw this on another thread and works great).
Total cost: Around $150 dollars Quoted: 800 - 1200
Here is how she looked when I got her:
She was used for daily commute to work by her previous owner:
fair amount of road rash and one nasty crack.
Rear wheel after stripping:
And my new girl after her nip and tuck, and face lift:
Face lift:
Crack is filled in:
And she looks great from behind:

Very nice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope that wasn't you riding in shorts and sandals - the boys here are gear ***** (incl me)
I think I'd have carried the satin black on to the seat, but that's just me.
Very nice job.
BTW the bike had been restored before as the red paint wasn't in original colours.......
May you have many miles
