Mine does it too, when cold - it's something I've learned to live with. On a cold morning it'll stall 4 or more times before it takes, especially if it's been on the sidestand over night........
I don't think there's anything wrong with the carbs or other settings - other guys have similar experiences.............

Check your battery, it needs a full battery to perform at best.

Do the simple checks first, before we all start stripping you bike down to see whats wrong.

good service and valve clearance check would be a good place to start.

Yeah, if you're interested... look at the "motobatt" sealed glass mat batteries. You can get the correct size on fleabay and amazon. ($65 shipped)
Best battery I've ever had in this bike.
It takes a little manipulation of the cables on the teminals (have to bend them), but other than that.... excellent battery for the price. (and comes with 4 terminals if you run accessories)
The actual motobatt model is MBTX14AU.
Very common size and fits a ton of bikes.

ADMINS, lose this guy. His football posts aren't even current.

Edit- OK- post was deleted. Thanks Shadow. As Rosanne Rosannadanna used to say, "never mind".
