Thanks Guys,

I shouldn't have too many problems with the alternator damper changover as I've built/rebuilt a number of bikes over the years but am sure I will be on for some virtual hand holding/wringing if things don't go smoothly.

I am just very appreciative to have found the forum where 1. the problem has been identified and 2. where an excellent "how to" exists for tackling the job.

Cheers, SB

Nice one man - nice to have another Aussie onboard - looking forward to seeing your
handy work too. I like that paint scheme.

Passo Stelvio - good trip then eh ?

Now how did you know that? And yes it was a bloody marvellous fang - 10 hours in the saddle from Corvara in Italy to the Stelvio and return.

Now have the T shirt!

So do I Sprock, so do I. A very capable machine that has taken my partner and I many, many thousands of trouble free touring miles.

We did a 9,000 km trip from the Adelaide Hills to Cairns (Far North Queensland) and back in 14 days! A couple of laps of Tasmania and numerous trips to Melbourne and mid-north of SA.

Hoping the CBR will offer similar pleasures.

Cheers, SB
