Default Mounting surface for your farkle switches?

As a sign that I'm getting lazier as I get older (29 next week!), I'm going to be installing a set of Dual Star heated grips. My only problem is where to mount the toggle switch (I went for a recessed type of switch no no arm sticking 6 feet up). I'm comtemplating making a small mounting plate that bolts onto the clutch master cylinder and sticks out over the key cylinder. I've mocked up something with some cardboard (excuse the crappy camera phone pics) and was wonder what you guys thought...

Perhaps it could be hidden, likeby being strapped under the trïpple three?

Would be nice, have a switch on each side of the ignition switch, but there is nothing to bolt a thin pice of aluminium to and I don't feel like drilling my triple trees.

I know, it looks gay and all that, but...

I thought of using the bolts on either side of the ignition switch, but one of them stripped out on me...stupid T40 bolt
