Missing Paint/Rust on top Swingarm
 

I still can't believe that Honda couldn't have atleast put an aluminum swinger on these bikes. My old 89 ZX-10 had aluminum everything. Anyhow has anyone else had paint peeling from behind the pivot area? I wonder what caused it? It also looks like some rust has set in. I guess I better clean it up and paint it, don't want my swingarm falling off.:(

just had to do mine,was in the same place, after cleaning it all up it was just surface rust and a bit of pitting, check the route of your battery breather as if there have been issues with overfilling ect it will drip onto the swinger.

Put a longer battery breather on and reroute it out away from your swingarm.......
