Default Mirrors again!!!!!!!!!

Evenin all ..... Just a quick question!

A few weeks ago I was on the way back from Yorkshire when my R/H mirror (which was slightly damaged) parted company with the bike on the motorway at a silly speed! ( Yes, it was previously damaged!) ...... So I need a replacement!

Question is .... I've found one from a CBR600F - J (mine is a 1000F-J) .... Is the mirror the same? It looks the same from the piccys on EBay????

Fanks

Not sure if they're the same Shakey, check out the part numbers, if they match up they'll be the same

Mind you, if you ride fast enough, what's behind you is receding and don't matter, 'cos it's moving away from you. Just ride fast enough to loose your other mirror and you should be O.K.

I'd buy a set for the Mk 3 - longer arms and easier to see, and will fit (and prob cheaper)
e-Bay had them in both US and UK......
And I believe the 600 and 1000 mirrors are the same.
You can always check by looking up the part numbers on

Thanks for the info lads .... I had a look at the MrCycles link ... the ONLY part numbers missing were for the R/H mirror! Just my luck!

I'm not really bothered about originality, and would definately like the idea of mirrors that were a bit wider than the stock ones! ....

Will the later model mirrors definately fit my F-J????

Thanks

I've never seen 2 part numbers that match up on that dam site...lol. (even with parts I know will cross)

I tried to look it up for you in other places, shakey, but I couldn't find an answer for certain on the 600-1000 swap. I want to say they do, but I've never done it.
