Mirror extensions

RE: Mirror extensions
Thanks pfsnsd
I had just replace one mirror, so my Right mirror doesn,t have one. I really miss it.
I just haven't got round to putting a new one on yet.
I like the externder idea, but I still think they aren't a total soultion, Let me know how much they are.
Mirrors are important to me, I'm alway scanning them - I just wish car drivers would perform the same courtesy instead of there tunnel vision.

RE: Mirror extensions
As I was ridding yesterday I made a point to look at my mirror settings. I remembered that I pushed them forward to get a better view. I still see my elbows in ¼ of the viewing area. In traffic when stopped I can see everything I need to as I have turned the mirrors outward slightly. I adjust my mirror on any bike by stopping on a non-traveled road and making an adjustment so that I can see as far in the distant as possible. In a car or truck you adjust the mirrors outward so that you can no longer see the sides of the vehicle (rearward and not inward). On the bike, the only thing I have to go by is the distant horizon behind me and use the road as a straight edge.
Before you purchase extensions, try to adjust the mirrors like I have mentioned and see what happens. I still nod my head very slightly in the direction of the mirror I am looking at but no big deal.
