Ive have a 87 with 43000 on it . I bought it about a year ago , with i think with 37000+ on it . I give 2700.00, the bike was in pretty good shape ,just needed some TLC . First off im 42 5`8 and 170#. Ive owned several different street bikes from a sportster ninja, a dicate(can't spell), kz900, and raced dirt bikes since i was knee high. When these bikes are running right they're one of the best all-around scooters i've ever road. Good in the curves and theres not too many new bides to run off and leave me. These bikes will hold their own in just about any cituation. Like i said I'm 42 i don't care anything about having my butt up over my head when i'm riding like some of the newer bikes are. You can ride these bikes about 300-400 miles a day and you don't feel like you have been beat to death. I love my hurrican. They have had some c.t. and timing chain problems. Might need to read back forms to see what i'm talking about but if bald tires and carbs being out of sinc is the only problem this bike has and you don't want to ride wheeles all the time even at the asking price of $1,200, I'll take two....lol... but seriously it is a good well-rounded, do-all bike.

I would say that's a great deal for the US. I'm living in Costa Rica and with the taxes we have on vehicles, my 94 cost me $4,500.

I think I got the deal out of the group so far. I paid $3500 for mine with 25k miles on the clock.

Also, streetgliderx, the bike goes through front tires faster than rears.

You might have a good deal, I bought my 94 CBR1000F-R on march 17 of this year. It was from the original owner whom purchased it on march 17, 1994. The bike, when I bought it, had 6,800 original miles and documented. It now has 11,200 miles. I love the bike so much, I've put 4,000+ miles on it in less than 4 months.
