Default Mechanical cam chain tensioner for 1000f

Anyone done their own CCT change? Just wondering if anyone can tell if this looks like the bolt pattern
on the notorius rattling hydraulic unit. This is the CCT out of that cbx750fe thats supposed to bolt right in
to replace the hyd. unit on our bikes. I have one on the way and I'll report back in with a part number if this
works.

I'd try one in a heartbeat if they're interchangeable. Problem is, the 750 wasn't sold in the US. I don't know if we could get that part or not.

Looks similar, but what was wrong with yours? And how much adjustment will you get out of the manual system? And how often will you have to open the top to adjust the tensioner? Let us know how you get on, would be interesting to see if this solves the jingling we all love to here, ha ha.....

Thats the manual one that he's showing, but its not a great picture, and its not an idea that I've heard of before, will have to wait and see what comes of it.

I am quite certain they are interchangeable as I have seen a photo of a cbr1000f tensioner in a CBX. But whether or not they are any better is another thing.
