Hey thanks Marc. It's good to be back. I've just been crazy with work lately. Crap, I'm still traveling for work now. Road season for me.

Put the battery and fuel valve out of the green bike on and got it going, quick bike needs a tune up and has a oil leak. Any common leak where oil would drip on my foot when its on the gear selector? hope to pull the fairing soon and check it out!

Be very, very careful - it's a slippery slope and I still see lots of 'bike room' in your shed...............

Well done though! She looks good.

Cheers, SB

The leak is coming from the clutch side. And it gets worse at speed. If I am reading correct it's the crankshaft cover? Seems to be the gasket, is that a thing I need from Honda or would I be able to use gasket maker.

Best an oem Honda gasket, you sure it's not oil running down from the valve cover gasket ? (can be quite common)

found the issue. The local honda dealer was able to custom cut the gasket and had an O-ring in stock. I thought it was just the gasket, removed the crankcase cover to find some fairly large cracks that I couldn't see from the outside. Lucky for me the green bike was not taken to the shop yet so I swapped covers with its blown motor. Changed the oil and fresh filter took it for a test run and no leaks. Next is to address the massive exhaust leak from when they put on the single slip on exhaust. The green bike has a header-back vance and hines that long been discontinued. So my best be is to make it work with this crap I have now. Pics of exhaust weld issue and cracked cover to come soon.

For the speedo issue, I'd check the sprockets are standard, 17 front and 42 rear.
