Sorry guy's but the olympics were on. The hole is not drilled through the head, the hole is drilled through the engine in front of the starter and under the carbs. Wil get into my engine this week for sure.

Hole in the head isn't always such a terrible thing, it could help relieve some pressure self imposed or not.

Plus, how you gonna pour battery acid into a head without a hole? Just ask jeff dahmer......LOL...

Sorry it's been so long, I have my engine apart now and everything looks great inside. I have been taking many pictures in preparation for a tensioner kit. I will post some pictures of what my manual tensioner looks like this week.

I was just up your way in Dundas. It's a very nice area with friendly people. I replaced my CCT 37,000 mile ago and it is getting sloppy again. I baby the bike to keep it young. These things on other engines last the life time. I can't wait to see what you have been up to.
