Manual cam chain tensioner for 1000F
Last spring I built my own manual cam chain tensioner for my 1987 CBR 1000. The tensioner worked absolutely flawless all summer. I am going to take a look at the inside of my engine very soon to see how everything looks. I did post that there may be a kit form of my tensioner available. The only thing that makes the mod a bit of a challenge is that you have to drill a 1/2 hole through your babies engine to install the adjuster. If anyone can bring themselves to do this than please send me a message. If response is good than I will definately make a how to video and produce tensioner kits.

Can't wait to hear how it looks after a bit of use ...
I know one thing , and that is that if I can use anything else that has worked for others to keep these dam thing quiet ...OM DOIN IT !!!
Drilling a hole ?? hmm ...I tell you what , in those threads here ages ago that were discussing a few different types of manual tensioners , I had thought of doing just that ...
The thought of a one turn of a nut system from the outside and shes nice and tensioned is very appealing ...
