Default main jet size ?

All
I recently bought a set of carbs off ebay for my 1988 Hurricane 1000.
Upon cleaning them I found 2 of the main jets were 130 size and the other 2 were 120 size. The 130's were on the right side and the 120's were on the left side of the engine. I always thought the main jets had to be the same size.
The guy claims they came of a strong running bike. How could the bike run good with 2 different size jets in it. The carbs are the VGA91 which are 120 size main jet stock. The ones on my bike are the VGA90 which are also 120's
I want to go with all 4-124 size jets because I want to run the KN and plan on going with a exhaust soon. The engine started running lean at 7k on the dyno with the 120's so I am thinking the 130's should do the trick. What do you all run.

Where is a good place to get main jets from? I am in the US. Thanks
