Default Lowering CB1000

My wife would like to ride my bike, but it is too tall for her. I was wondering what was the best way to lower the stand over height. Any help would be appreciative.

Thanks
Ryan

If the CB's seat is like the CBR's, you could try cutting out some foam from the seat. From either edge would probably be best.

you could drop the front forks by 10mm
as far as lowering the bike completely , I wouldn't mess with the ground clearance too much

I'm sure there's shorter versions of the "Big Ones" rear shocks too

loosen up the triple tree bolts and lower the whole thing on the forks
make sure you have a front and rear stand for the bike first though
or you could use some ratchet straps to hold the frame up
this will do three things
1 lower the front of the bike
2 make the bike tip in better
3 create more forward pressure to front tire
