I'm guessing you're kinda muscular? I'm 6' 190ish and a 46 fits great on me.

Hi Dragon
Sounds like you have found one of those infamous "shrinking wardrobes" every piece of clothing you put into it comes out much smaller than it was when it went in,the one I have works very well especially on things like my wetsuit that I used to use in my surfy days about 40 years ago it's shrunk so much that I cant even pull it up my legs (I call it soft muscle others may call it fat).Anyway welcome back to the world of adrenilan buzz and awesome folk who are happy to poke **** at you at any time.

The effects of JK's "shrinking wardrobe" are wide ranging. The leathers I bought at 19 have obviously treated to the effect and I don't think my leathers have been any where near his wardrobe. Mind you, my belly has been near his fridge on the odd occassion, maybe they work in tandem?

I started out using leathers after getting back on a bike but a couple of years ago I switched over to a polyester type riding jacket and pants. Both have liners that can be removed when the temperature is not as cold. They are padded for fall protection, and rain resistant to a certain extent, which I really like. The jacket I rode with this morning is a Tourmaster. Great wind protection, and it has done well in the rain.

I also have a lighter riding jacket for cool mornings, and the liner can be removed for air flow in the summer months.

This site has a CLOSEOUT section where you can get pretty good deals on just about anything motorcycle gear related.

I too have put weight on over the years and have always managed to take it off. I am too cheap to buy a new wardrobe and use my pants getting tight as motivation to go on a diet. Not only will you save money, you'll look and feel better. Give it a try.
