K&N Stock Replacement question
I have used K&N filters on all my EFI vehicles. It's pretty simple. Hook up the battery after installation and start her up. EFI re-maps itself. No brainer.
I've never installed a K&N on a carburated anything. Is there goin to be any re-jet issues?
Edit: Did use them on my '77 RM250. Unmodified. no porting and polishing. No issues then. no issues now?

Yes, or maybe no.
Carb bikes have no idea about remapping, they think it's a GPS function. Depending on how far away you are from the standard fitment you may, or may not give yourself issues.
Are you talking about a direct K&N replacement for the factory filter or are you looking at a pod filter set-up?
