I agree with the other replies . it’s not worth the effort and money to get it to run well without the airbox. If you want to run without the airbox that’s your decision but it will not run as strong as with it. If you want to improve performance open up the exhaust, play with the ride height to improve weight transfer, try different sprocket sizes or run the turbo a see how scary she can get.

i should amend my statement as running with a turbo kinda negates the need for the airbox.

If your 94 is like my 88 was, there is very little room to mount a pod filter on righthand carb (#4). With the flatslides I had to cut a notch in the stack so gas tank would sit down properly.

i was looking at them and thought the same thing, so hopefully ill be able to get them to fit how i want. thanks for the replies, fellas!
