Default J versus K

Hi all,

Can anyone point to a reference where the subtle differences between the FJ and FK models are detailed. I say subtle as I can't find anything mechanically related. Was it just colour schemes?

Regards
John

PS Still waiting for permission to load pics etc. It's like I got into the proch but know one has answered the front door to let me in.

I actually meant the difference between the FH and FJ. Apologies for the confusion.

Hi to put photos on here this is what i do (there probably is an easier/quicker way but i dont know it lol) :-

Click on your name at the top right of the page,
Open an album & upload photo,
Open the photo & copy url address under the picture.

Open another tab/web page & go to CBRforum,
Write your post/message,
Click postcard square icon above,
Paste url address in the box.

Your photo will apeare in the post/message either quick or advanced.

Hope this helps. Im sure CBRclassic put a post somewhere on here how to do it but i cant find it for you, good luck.

Try these on for size

Honda CBR1000F - CycleChaos

Honda Hurricane 1000 (CBR1000F) Motorcycles

Honda CBR1000F - buying used - Motorbikes Reviews, News & Advice - bikepoint.com.au

The FH/FJ was the 1987/88 models which are essentially the same motorcycle.

The first major update was the FK which is the Mark 2 model from 1989.

Hope that helps.

Cheers, SB

Dadarob,

I don't have full cbrforum permissions yet so unable to upload pics.

How is life in the North East? I have fond memories of my youth in Hartlepool when it was part County Durham!

SB,

Thanks for the links now added to my favs. You are confirming my thoughts about there being no real difference between the models.

Undoubtedly the **** has been stirred so my work here is done, I'm off to bed now; public holiday here tomorrow, I'm planning a reasonably early start (ie; post chores, pre snooze) to find a fruit tree with fruit on it.

FYI Seb, Tony from Perth is coming for a wee jaunt in the countryside with me.
