I can't remember if anyone has mentioned the fact that NGK has an irridium tipped plug for our bikes now. I think Honda specs them in all the newer bikes. I've been using the DPR9EIX-9 plugs for a year now. The bike starts a lot easier than with the standard plugs.

Yep DPR9EIX-9 I think they are. Use Iridiums in my Volvo too ......real good product

IMHO exotic metals are a waste of money =\, and if it works, cool, but if they are helping the bike run better, there was prolly a problem in the first place either with the timing or the spark gaps (maybe they were too far or too close together) or maybe even wires...

Regular ceramic copper plugs have always worked for me, and for a lot of people I know that run 8 second 1/4 cars. :S
