My friend and I have been using a Motorola Talkabout walkie talkie with a wired earbud and mic. It works well up to about 80-90 mph we do have to yell though. Midland has a setup that has a boom mic and earphone in the helmet, and a PTT button that mounts to the bars/clip ons, I haven't tried that one. All are under $200. I got mine for $60 bucks for both handsets and another $40 for the headsets and mics. They're not bluetooth though. If you're looking to spend the $$ try looking at Akuma Helmets. They have a helmet that's going into production with integrated bluetooth. The graphics kickass. Pricing is around $400-500.

I was also thinking about the BTA bluetooth adaptor for CB's/MP3's and alike.
A$220 for the BTS-210 & A$130 for the CB BT adaptor.
= A$350 - buy the same in the US would be probably about $250, I guess

kamikaze2899$100 is a good spend & if you want to upgrade, the CB stays
I know wired system are the bested, but I want cordless - I want - I want . . .

I did a seach for Akuma but could find anything in Australia - probably would be $700-$800 over here anyway

My mate tells me that having stereo music in the helmet could upset your balance - but I just think he's being gay

My Camos BTS-200 (210) arrived yesterday.
I also got the Bluetooth adapter that makes any audio device (MP3 / Phone / GPS / Nintendo Wii) bluetooth enabled.

I havn't hadmuch time to play as yet, I did fit it to my helment (15min) and did stream music from my phone and a MP3 player via Bluetooth Adaptor.

Will report back with photo's after I have played a bit with my new Toys

well after numerous suggestions, talking to different reps etc etc.. we have now purchased a set made by autocom...they are brilliant. and really does confirm, you get what what you pay for... cost was about £130 each... walkie talkie, headset, vox, ptt button etc... just need some bloody decent weather...

pic of Elan Valley, mid wales... fantastic ride out... ( on the shadows bike ..lol )

I wont get to play with them much today.
I woke up and when I walked outside, I didn't know where I was, I had to call a mate to pick me up.
