Thumbs up

Nice looking bike you have there my man !

You know, these bikes are pretty rare these days as I don't think i've seen another 1000F in the flesh in probably over a year !

I ride mine to work all year round, everyday in all weathers & she loves it !

These bikes are great build quality & take a good licking.

Thank you thank you!! She's a beauty!! Honestly I don't think I've ever seen one.. I was in the market to buy, seen it on Craigslist, did a little reading, talked to the guy, I asked him about it and what not and picked it up 3 days later (due to my job I work out of town) and was 10000x better looking in person I was absolutely amazed how clean it was for a 17 year old bike!!! Need I say more?

Very nice bike, you've done well. Wish you were around to ride with. Have you found that you have to practice obeying the speed limit? Sometimes when I'm rinding on my '87, I feel like a fish in water the way she seems to just "slip" through the air. And another thing, have you noticed what happens when you lay down on the tank? It's about the most fun you can have with yer pants on huh? I'm a noob too, but have been riding little street bikes for years. So glad I didn't get that Sportster instead.

Nice looking bike! I went from a 90mdl TT250 for a bit of fun in the dirt to my 94 mdl 1000. I have fond it hard to keep to the speed limits too, I reckon the bike taunts me coz all I hear is "is that all you got"!!

Lol smiles w/ bugs that is awesome. Oh I know all about laying on the tank!! Speed limits are hard to obey. I don't ride fast. I ride "spirited" as Bavarian autosport (bmw
Parts dealer) would put it I wish I had someone to ride with!!! Sucks riding alone!!!

You're right there but i got into soooo much trouble when i was a young bloke riding with other nuts...er, i mean guys. Drag racing my mate from the lights in the middle of London at 2.00am didn't go down all that well with the cops in the unmarked car behind us. I was quite chuffed to get to 90mph though.

"I was just blowing out the cobwebs officer." .
