I don't think I'd by a buell, tho. lol..
I have ridden the FJR and think it's to heavy to be a sport bike. It does come with bags that blend in. It is shaft driven, a plus. The first gen bikes will fry your privet parts off.

The Buells had Sportster engines before going with the Rotax. As soon as HD dumped (liquidated) the brand I had to wonder what kind of support you could get. Just like the original Indian, the brand does not exist anymore. It may be more a a collector than a rider.

I rode a Buell home from Phillip Island once and my mate rode my Blackbird. Suffice to say he wouldnt give me my BB back and I wanted to burn his Buell. Having ridden one I wouldnt own one if it was given to me. Each to their own and all that, but the Buell doesnt even rate in the same universe as the Honda imo.

You guys can all calm down. I'm putting the money towards paying off my car tomorrow. Any money left is being earmarked towards a new welder (thinking Hobart Handler 190 w/SpoolGun)

For what I'm not sure. I have a crappy 80A flux wire welder right now that I uses twice a year

I've seen Harleys welded together here in Africa when they couldn't find a nut and bolt.

I'm always borrowing a welder, never seem to get around to buying one and when I did it had been sold.
Busy building a bike trailer so once again, have borrowed one.
