Just be careful there Wheelnut, I seem to recall a thread by Wooferdog last year where his lovely Wife decked out his workbench with vases of flowers.....

It's a slippery slope from there.

Soon they'll be borrowing your tools

Cheers, SB

I picture you in your shed with a very flamboyant assistant.

this weeks update is a bit late, it was my birthday this week and the lovley wife arranged a suprise party for me saturday night, ohmy word did i get hammered . sambuca, rum, beer was a laugh but im not as young as i was and i suffered a bit for it sunday.
But luckily ive got this week off work so ive been able to get out to the hurricane a few times. i really want to get the front end finished so thats what ive been up to.
I now have resprayed forks and wheel and put the steering head back together,
i will have to do 2 threads to get the pictures on.
Couple of tips allways warm the paint up if its chilly, and i bought a couple of the spray can heads (see pic) off ebay and have to say they are really usefull (see pic)

now that the forks are painted i have fitted new dust seals and refilled them with oil and set the air gap and re-aired them, so their back in the bike.
I have re-set the head bearings after painting the top and bottom yolks i turned my time to the brakes.
I have cleaned the callipers and pistons, put new pads and rubber boots on and will put new fluid in when i get the wheel back in.
Thats my next job along withe some new discs, then i can get the hurricane out the shed and turn it round to start on her rear

Happy (Belated) Birthday Wheelnut!

Man, your resto job is looking sweet - bloody well done! I can't wait to reclaim some shed space and kick off one some of my own work.

Cheers, SB

Yeah, inspiring stuff Paul. Did you use any specific paint?

And a Happy Birthday from me too!
