Default Hurricane rebuild

well now that christmas and new year are done and my hangovers are better, its time to get out to the shed and get stuck in to my hurricane,
i will add pictures as i go, please feel free to add advise, comments or ideas

the bike is now minus the body work and i have made a start on repairing the panels ready for painting, i have had to source a second hand headlight fairing as this one is knackered beyond repair,

so now shes naked its time for a good clean up, and she was grubby

Those blooming headlight fairing are like seashells on the MK1 Wheelnut - I think they
snap and crack if you sneeze or fart hard enough

Nice job look forward to watching your progress

Love these type of threads

Keep up the good work Paul, you can show her off in the summer.

We're not that far apart, maybe we could meet up with 'Bug Killer', he's got the MK3, then we could get all three generations together

Subscribing to the thread as well, there is less and less MK1 on the road and we have to keep them going.

If you need any info please contact me it will be a pleasure!

Good luck with the re-build. As Steve says, get yours on the road and we can meet up with a MK1, 2 & 3 all together. Add a minter (HenryM) and what a collection.
Waiting for 100,000 then its my turn for re-build.

Keep us all posted.
