how do I replace my clutch fluid?
Hello all,
I am new to these forums, and I am soooo stoked on finding them!
There is a whole community out there that loves their ol Hurricanes as much as I do.
Anyways,
How do I replace my clutch fluid on this bike in particular?
I can't find the bleed valve. I have bleed brakes a million times, but never a clutch. I have read numerous threads on these forums and all over the internet, but they show how to do it on bikes that have the bleed valve right there out it the open.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all!
Mr. B

If you find the bleed nipple as per the manual pic from TK
A slack way to replace it is to just connect a drain hose to it and pump the old stuff out using the lever , while adding new fluid to the master ...
Pump till nice new stuff flows clean from the slave ...
A power bleeder is a good tool if you can get hold of one ....???
NOTE : COVER EVERYTHING AROUND THE MASTER WHILE PUMPING ..
a few slashes might get on yu plastics or tank ect and very dats a bad ting !!!!

Thanks for the help kiwi!
and to you CBRclassic!
Unfortunately, I must be blind for I cannot find that any where on my bike.
I downloaded a manual, but I think I got the wrong one as it does not have any pictures or information that helps me.
Where did you get that pic from?
if it helps at all I have the 1990 model.
and no, hurricanes have hydraulic clutches, although my ol 75 cb400 cafe racer had a cable... i think. (it was a while ago.)

Look at the picture.
LEFT SIDE for fluids and master cylinder.
Clutch replacement is done from the RIGHT SIDE
It's early here too

Left/right
To be fair I don't blame you for being confused; I think every other bike I've ever owned has all the gubbins for the clutch on the right. It was only when I went and had a careful look that I found the hydraulic line on the left. I'm assuming it's not a brake line cos' it doesn't have a cable.
