DON'T

is what I was advised. Some guys here did it and a host of problems came to an otherwise problem-free/reliable bike. The most common one is over-heating.

Nah, I wouldn't do it. She has enough power for me. Interesting to see that they still make them though.

I wouldn't do it either!I once fitted a Wiseco 1170 kit to a GPZ1100, along withMikuni smoothbores(sold the injection system)pod filters, Harris pipe,and aBIG oil cooler.
The compression was so high that I had to carry a can of octane booster everywhere I went to prevent pre-ignition.
Eventually Ilowered the compression a touch by raising the barrels. It went hard (still handled crap though!), but I'd never do it again.
I should have just bought a faster standard bike!
