Thank you very much for a well-explained explanation!
I will do a deep dive in the carburetors and possibly move the rubbers out a little more so there will be more surface to attach the carburetors, maybe they last better so I do not have to be interrupted with them popping out!
And I have a time on me now before a set of vacuum gauges comes to me
should be really fun and get a new experience
Here is a clip and here can you also hear the sound on the engine file name MPEG
This is my first start when I got the carburetors from the seller and there is a big leak what I have to fix in the both T-pipe too much grease in the o rings
Thank you once again for your expertise

Cool, thanks for the audio. Idling really high I'd say . I would go through them myself for sure. I don't trust anyone unless I've seen it with my own eyes. No one will focus on the nitty gritty details like you will. Your investment is time and quality. BTW, those rubber boots for the carburetors do go on a specific direction.

Absolutely agree, feel the same!
I had it on cold start when you heard audio, thanks for notis the high idle! Did you see the leak or just heard the audio?
Thanks for the tips regarding the rubber holders!
I went after how the old ones sat assembled, I had to cut them off with a knife to get at all of them they have been sitting there for 33 years I think!
I will look really closely tomorrow, they were not original but were exactly the same!

For clarification, that video is of the new carburetors you just got?
Holy crap man, that is crazy leaking. I bet they didn't replace any of the O rings. Those carbs sure look good on the outside, but man that fuel was gushing out of those T connectors for the fuel lines. People have to realize you can't put the entire carburetors in cleaning solvents. You have to take them apart and remove the O rings so they're not damaged. Also so the small passageways get thoroughly cleaned. What did I say, you can't trust anyone.
I thought that attachment was only audio. Then opened in VLC and saw the video. WOW!

hahaha ok
Yes, those are the ones I pay $ 354
I wrote immediately to seller and requested new o-rings, when I disassembled them I discovered that the locking for t - tubes was also gone!
I also ask for them but they did not respond later, so I had to disassemble my old carburetors!
Yes awful!
It could have ended really bad if I had a fule tank on and did not detect it in time, the generator is almost underneath they can sparkle really wellwhile it running

Hi
I am really greatfull for all help here!!
Carburetor looks clean on the inside! Shall check a little more carefully while I have them disassembled
The Intake rubber holder I get a little wondering if my new ones are fitted correctly!
There is only one flarp on the original but on the new there are two flarps on not original!
look at the picture!
So the chance that it will be wrong is 50/50 mybe there is my problem why the pop out from the rubber intake holder's
if I can get your knowledge, I have also found two picture online where they are symmetrical on each side
