Check your frame ground too - sometimes it's that simple

You know i am feeling dumber by the minute. The starter usually turns over once before clicking so there's no reason to think it's bad.... and i just simply trusted the interstate battery guy and ignored all the other signs. It finally occurred to me to just double check the battery voltage while the starter button is pressed. Well... simply turning the ignition switch on makes the voltage drop to 7... It shouldn't be below about 9 or 10 while the starter is RUNNING, right? No way the battery is good! I theorize the interstate battery guy was incompetant. So i have 2 batteries and the Yuasa is totally fried i know for a fact, so i just took that one in and got it replaced. The new battery will be ready to charge in the morning, so we will see what happens.

Well, problem solved and i guess i am an idiot. sorry guys... It was just the battery. the guy at interstate who tested my battery and said it was good is apparently also an idiot because when i finally thought to test the voltage while hitting the start button, i discovered that the voltage dropped to 7 when simply the ignition switch was turned on.
