The Hand warmers are only a couple of bucks each. Give 'em a try.

+1 re: heated grips. I also use the mylar sheel style, and they work great. The alt can keep up, but I can't run the grips and my aux driving lights together...that drops me down to approx. 11.4v

talking about those pocket warmer things hunters/game goers use? They bunch up n arent very comfy (even for passengers) n only fit in the palm of your hand

prolly better than nuttin tho

It's been awhile since I've ridden through the winter, but the last time I did, I wore a pair of down ski mittens- they'll keep your hands much warmer than any gloves can.

Me being such a Scrooge,i use Tiger balm,Deep heat- Mentholatum cream on the hands then slip on the Thinsulate gloves then the leather gloves,that keeps feeling in the hands for 75=kms travelling Freeway speeds in 5-10*C weather.
