Default Fuel Pump Removal

I recently removed the fuel pump off of my 87 and ended up having to buy 25ft of 3/8 aluminum because I was not happy with the kink of the rubber hose. I ended up making a U and flaring the ends. It fits in nicely where the pump used to be. If anyone is planning on doing this job let me know and I will send you the piece as have about 24ft left over.

Pic of my ugly handy work.

That's funny. Sprock was just talking about how his tubing kinks.
Those little tubing benders are pretty slick for a job like this.

I'v not seen the pump so I have no idea what path the fuel travels with the pump, but that bend seams to be a problem. Nice way to solve the problem.

comes down from petcock works back to pump, which is right before the normal
RR position on all bikes, then does a U' y straight towards the carbs and in under
left frame rail

we (87 owners) junk the pump and usually stick an inline - if using a large filter
it's easier to put it in place of where the old fuel pump with old attached filter was
before the rr and beside the battery

I need the U for out the back of the filter to go 180 straight to the carbs

the 180 is where the kink happens on my setup
