Thanks A couple of other questions as the petcock is a bigger line then the carb inlet what size line are you using? I went to the auto parts store and all they had were 1/2 and 3/8 fuel inj line . Tried to start hose in fittings and the 1/2 is to big and the 3/8 to small. Is there such a thing as a metric fuel line? Also how are people running this line? I tried to use the orig line but coudnt make it fit. It is very tight and with the side cover on you really cant go around the outside. I tried to go under the frame rail but it is also very tight and seems to compress the line.

Since then (that thread) I have put carbs from a 1990 on it - which feed through the other side &
is easier imo - and the bike is 100% on these carbs.

I actually used brass marine fuel elbows in the end these specific ones,
you keep the expanded hose that hooks to the petcock and then custom
lengths of regular hose to suit thereafter

I just noticed Randy, you joined the forum in 2007 and have 5 posts. Your bike has been sitting all that time?

Good for you to now get it on the road and enjoy it

Cheers, SB

Hello Yes it has, unfortunately . I have 3 boys that are 14,17 and 21 now, in 2007 they were 9, 12 and 16, All 3 were in traveling sports year around and we have a large yard with a garden and 2 lawnmowers , I tractor 3 dirt bikes Honda xr-50 Suzuki ds-80 and Kawasaki kdx-200 and 1 bike Yamaha R6 for the oldest boy Kawasaki zx-6 for the middle son. . I was able to work on it my Hurricane occasionally over the years and found missing panels here and there , next did some work on it on vacation a couple of years ago . When my oldest boy got his first street bike we worked on it all winter and finally got it going. Nowadays my middle son is riding and I had to do the whole bodywork repair /painting deal on his bike That got me in the mood as well as having all the paint equipment and parts to work on my bike Incidentally it has 2024 miles on it.
