Come on down, Sprock! You should remember how to get here....lol.

Maybe on your way down south if you go next month? Offer is always there, bro.
(Although you've been way too nice lately. Not sure if I trust that chit. )

OK.....one last question....it was bound to happen.....

On the bottom of the fuel tank, next to the port for the breather, there is a line coming from the bottom of the tank, which appears to be a vacuum line. Where does it connect? The free end looks like it was connected to something, and I can't imagine that there would be two vent lines next to each other. The manual says nothing about it and, since I've taken a 2 hours project and stretched it to 7 days, I can't quite remember where it was connected. I attempted to look around, but I couldn't see anything. I guess I could take everything else back out (which I may need to do in order to route the vent tube which I did not put back in before hooking the tank back up) but I would like to avoid that if at all possible.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Looks like it's going to be a keg party instead of a case.......

Only lines in the 93-96 are: overflow tube (pretty much straight down from the filler cap, no actual hose just the metal tube), 2 off the petcock (one for the fuel and one for the vacuum assist) and the fuel gauge wiring out the back

It's not reflected in the manual, either. Dead center in the tank is the 'vent tube' which has a piece that anchors to the breather and looks more like a funnel top leading to a tube that just hangs down. I have the vacuum and fuel lines hooked the the petcock and the plug for the fuel gauge. However, next to the vent on the center bottom of the tank is another line (rubber vacuum looking line) that is just to the right (if sitting on the bike) of the vent opening. The loose end is stretched out like it was connected to something, but damned if I can figure out where it goes. Would this happen to be the overflow you referred to and the loose end just happens to look like it was connected to something????

It's not the overflow tube (I ran water into the overflow port on the edge of the filler flange and it ran out of the port you referenced. The vacuum line from the engine and the fuel line are hooked up. This is a line that runs from another metal nipple just to the side and towards the rear of the tank from the overflow port. The line looks like a vacuum line and is about 12-14" long. No clamp on the free end. This is the last thing I need to figure out before I try firing it up to see if it will run properly.

Probably the vent for the fuel tank. Give me a little bit to go home and prop my tank up (@ work for another 30 minutes)

Working on Saturday? Ouch! I'll tip one for you.

It may be, but the fact that the loose end looks like it has been connected (stretched/molded like it went over a metal nipple) is what is throwing me off. It's one of those things where I can remember disconnecting it from anything, but I can't 'not remember' disconntecting it from anything, either.

All of this, it better run without dumping fuel when I start it up.......
