Might be a good fix, like a few other little things, Honda sorted as they went, especially making them better looking hey Dave!

My 87 is spot on, soon as it hits the red it goes on to reserve.

mine is unreliable, always go by trip-ometer. For the record today I hit 301 klm before having to have to put on Reserve, the fuel guage has been reading bone dry 40 klms already. I figure with 3 litres on reserve Id have another 45 k's to go before drying out, but wont be testing that. So pretty good mileage it seems.

I have been toying with the idea of playing around with my fuel level sensor (float) in the tank to try and get it more accurate. Whether by lubricating mechanism or bending arm up or down a bit....what do you reckon? anyone tried this?

Man that's good. I don't think I get much more than 200 klms before I have to go to reserve!!! Looks like there is heaps of fuel in the tank at that stage though.

Mine is spot on as well, red means fill up!

I let it go to reserve once, just to see and ended up on the side of the road cranking the **** out of it before the fuel filled the bowls enough to even fire, much less run on all 4.

Red gets me between 110 and 120 miles and just under 4 gallons used.
